Diet - well what else?

Started losing weight on the Rosemary Conley Solo Slim diet - started on 1st Jan 2012 and to date (my last weigh-in was on Sunday) I have lost 10lb ! Another 4 to go to get to my first target of 14lbs (or 1 stone - not sure what the kilos are) OK I've not been perfect on it the past week or so - better get back on track as I have to lose about 2 more stone (that's 28lbs)

I have a myfitnesspal page and I'm a member of rosemaryconleyonline.com so no excuses for not losing the pounds really is there?

My favourite Rosemary Conley Solo Slim meals are:

Lunches (they're all soups):

Chunky Vegetable
Three Bean and Chorizo
Tomato
Spicy Beef and Tomato
Butternut Squash
Carrot and Coriander

Dinners:

Beef and Tomato Meatballs
Thai Chicken Curry
Chicken Korma
Chilli and Rice
Sausage Casserole
Pasta Carbonara

They are all reasonable (portion controlled as well - which helps a great deal). Can only get them in the UK though so if you're reading this from outside the UK - sorry!

RC also does Low Gi Nutrition Bars, Low Fat Cheese and Low Fat Hot Chocolate Drink! All are yummy!


I'd better get exercising tonight - I feel a salsacise DVD coming on!

Here I go again - oh no not really...

... never dieted before - no never yeah right!

I bought Coleen Nolan's  Disco Burn DVD and have done it a few times - at the moment though my right foot hurts *sniff sniff* 

I do have to lose a few stone now to fit into some clothes I've bought and never worn! Today I cheated though but there's always Tuesday and onward and downward!

Thought I'd catch up on here - I have more blogs than anyone else (I think...)

It's been too long...

...since I last posted. I wonder if anyone actually reads my blogs or are they so boring nobody bothers? I wonder what I can do to liven them up?

Re the diet - it isn't happening! Will have to try again after next week!

Hi ya!

Here we are going to start a new week of diet and exercise! I have been thinking that it is probably better if I can keep the momentum up - to do 2 aerbics DVDs a day or 1 aerobics and 1 toning because if I want to shift these pounds I am going to have to shake my booty!   I really should get toning too! I have until the beginning of August to lose at least a stone so thats 2.5 months away!

So instead of typing on here - gonna let my hubby on and then go and do some aerobics (despite having a migrain yesterday!)

WEIGH - IN...

...but not until tomorrow! I hope I've lost more weight!

I have a longish walk  to do today to get to a rehearsal for my G5 flute exam! I'll have to remember my pedometer Last night I did 30 minutes of aerobics - medium impact! so I was pleased with that!

Been relatively good with my food (why is food such an issue for a lot of people - including me?)

I've been wondering lately how many people read my blog(s)! Am I posting to nobody or do people actually read my writings? If you visit - fancy leaving a comment... GO ON it won't hurt ya!

The Weekend and Now

Well, here I am again!  I really don't feel like posting anything but thought I would keep someone up to date (not sure if anyone reads this or not!)!

OK over the weekend I ate 4 almond macaroons and about 4 choc chip muffins - I know I should have had more self control! Today I have hardly drunk anything (AGAIN!) but I have eaten fruit and some sausages and 2 bread rolls!

I'm feeling rather miserable lately - I think it's the stress of my flute exam and the feelings of foreboding! I have about 6 weeks to go and I really don't feel as if I'm good enough to take the exam! Oh well I've paid for it now so tough really! I HAVE to do it!

I have been putting together some crazy poems I've written so I can publish a book! Not sure who would buy them but someone might!

Well here I am again - I'm into the 3rd day of my diet and I feel like some CHOCOLATE!  I've been 'good' the last 2 days - have done some exercising and eaten healthily - I really have to keep this up and stop thinking about bad, unhealthy food I HAVE to lose weight to fit into the clothes that still don the labels because I put on weight before I could wear them! What is a girl to do?

I think I'll have some grapes - might curb my sweet craving...

DAY 1

OK this is day one of my healthy lifestyle change!


 It is scary starting something new, especially as I've started healthy lifestyle changes before and lasted about a week!  I am getting doubts about carrying this through as well as being excited at the prospect of losing weight, maintaining it and staying healthy! I am a mixed bag of emotions 

As I get older I find I'm more fearful of failure than when I was younger - weird eh?

Well, I weighed myself this morning as this is going to be my first day and I've lost 1lb (without trying) from last week! Whooo hooo so something positive to go on with!

For breakfast I ate 3 American pancakes, lunch was a sweet potato and 4oz baked beans - don't know what I'm cooking for dinner! I've planned my menus for next week and it's shopping tonight!

Hello

Well here I am again

I've posted a video on Youtube - a dieting diary! not that I've been doing a lot of dieting this week! (OK it's only Tuesday, I know! )

Not been exercising  but am going to do some in a minute  - just waiting for my food to digest!

It's difficult to find things to put on here! I don't do amazingly wonderful things during the day
